MODEL · THE INTERFACE
The interface is projected, not designed.
No two Korrex deployments will look alike, and none will look the same in year three as in year one. The surface is the object model meeting one organisation’s constitution.
IT SHRINKS AS THE CONSTITUTION ABSORBS WHAT IT WAS ASKING ABOUT
I · THE INVERSIONOPPOSITE DIRECTIONS
Every other product grows its surface as it matures.
Korrex reduces its surface as it matures. These are not variations on a theme — they optimise for opposite outcomes.
HOW SAAS IS BUILT
Each advance adds a component. The surface only ever grows.
UNIT OF PROGRESS
a new screen, field or setting
SURFACE OVER TIME
monotonically increasing
ACROSS CUSTOMERS
identical — differences are configuration
MATURITY LOOKS LIKE
more to learn, more to administer
WHAT IT OPTIMISES
engagement — time spent in the product
HOW KORREX IS BUILT
Each advance absorbs a component. The surface only ever shrinks.
UNIT OF PROGRESS
a question that never needs asking again
SURFACE OVER TIME
monotonically decreasing toward the ledger
ACROSS CUSTOMERS
divergent from day one — projection, not config
MATURITY LOOKS LIKE
less to learn, fewer people needed
WHAT IT OPTIMISES
absence — time never spent in the product
A product that adds a component per advance is telling you its model is incomplete. Korrex is built so that every advance is an absorption.
II · THE PROJECTIONMODEL × CONSTITUTION = INTERFACE
Nobody designs a Korrex screen for a customer.
The screen is what falls out of one fixed model meeting one particular constitution. Two deployments diverge from day one without anyone configuring anything.
THE MODEL
×
⟨entry⟩ ⟨address⟩ ⟨verdict⟩ ⟨standing⟩
Fixed. Identical in every deployment, never customised. This is the product.
THE CONSTITUTION
=
⟨counterparties⟩ ⟨types⟩ ⟨clauses⟩ ⟨actors⟩
One organisation’s own agreements and actors, compiled. Never identical in any two.
THE INTERFACE
⟨surfaces where a question remains⟩
Derived, not authored. Whatever is left unresolved becomes a screen — and only that.
THE MODEL IS IDENTICAL EVERYWHERE · THE CONSTITUTION NEVER IS · THE INTERFACE CANNOT BE TEMPLATED
III · THE GRAMMARONE OBJECT, ONE SURFACE
Each object has exactly one presentation.
Not a preferred one — the only one. A designer choosing between two treatments for the same object signals an object that was never properly defined.
OBJECTITS ONE SURFACETIERDISSOLVES WHEN
ENTRY
A row in the ledger
ADJUDICATION
Never — the one permanent surface
ADDRESS
A citation, inline wherever authority is claimed
ALL
Never — it is how anything is named
RULE
A compiled pair beside the clause it came from
AGREEMENT
Never, while the agreement is in force
ANOMALY CLASS
A card in the queue, with its resolution path
ASSURANCE
The class resolves into agreement or automation
STANDING
A register row — identity, mandate, currency
ASSURANCE
Every actor class holds a current mandate
DECISION
An action bar beneath the thing being decided
ASSURANCE
Nothing remains that a human must answer
Everything you can touch is temporary. Everything permanent is untouchable.
Input exists only at Assurance, and every Assurance surface exists only because something is unresolved. The interactive part of Korrex is precisely the part scheduled for deletion.
IV · THE LIFE OF A SURFACETHREE STATES
Raised by a question, retired by an answer.
A surface is not shipped. Three states, and only one of them is permanent.
01
RAISED
An event arrives that the constitution cannot resolve.
The surface is created by the gap, not by a roadmap. Nobody decided to build it.
02
HELD
It persists while the class recurs, and only while.
Every appearance is a human asked the same question twice — the cost the amendment is measured against.
03
DISSOLVED
The class resolves. The surface has nothing to ask and is gone.
Its history stays in the ledger. The screen does not, and its absence is the receipt.
A SURFACE THAT WILL NOT DISSOLVE IS REPORTING A DEFECT · PERSISTENT SURFACES ARE MEASURED
V · WORDS ARE COMPONENTSCLOSED VOCABULARY
A word that names nothing cannot appear.
Every word in the interface names an object in the model — not in a label, a tooltip, an error, or a deck.

Not banned for taste. Each would have to resolve to an object, a surface and a tier — none can, so none can be acted on.
An agent reading a Korrex surface meets a closed set of terms with fixed meanings, so it can act without interpretation. Loose copy is an integration failure.
The finished state of a Korrex deployment is a ledger, a constitution, and almost no interface at all.
